• Current knowledge and ability to apply relevant local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and to present information to top management, owners, and outside entities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent or act on behalf of Superintendent as assigned, with safety as a priority.
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate construction projects with owners, designers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement production plans with budget goals.
• Prepare project status reports and payroll-related documentation.
• Review plans and shop drawings for contract compliance and coordination.
• Procure tools and materials to meet the work schedule.
• Determine staffing levels and equipment availability for each project phase.
• Recruit, hire, and direct onsite field personnel per HR policies.
• Resolve grievances with HR/legal assistance as needed.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure schedules are followed.
