Job summary

ESFM, the corporate facilities management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Safety Facilities Manager to lead safety programs across local units. You will conduct site visits, implement policy/procedures, and provide training to managers to ensure a safe work environment and reduce injuries.

The role requires travel up to 40% and relocation is available. The position emphasizes OSHA compliance, risk mitigation, and collaborative work with local teams to uphold client safety standards

Qualifications

• 3-5 years with progressive responsibilities is ideal.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% is required.
• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to interpret and apply safety laws and regulations.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and safety/worker's compensation procedures.
• Follows OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations per laws and client policies.
• Provide training to managers on safe work practices and inspections.
• Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and prepare regular reports for campuses.
• Monitor workplace hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Support return-to-work programs and injury management.
