Job summary

ESFM, the corporate facilities management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Safety Facilities Manager onsite in Florence, KY. You will help create safer workplaces, reduce injuries, and support loss prevention via training, inspections, and compliance with client requirements.

Regular meetings and on-site visits will strengthen safety practices across local units. The role requires travel up to 40%, a focus on training managers and maintaining OSHA records, and collaboration with risk

Qualifications

• 3-5 years with progressive responsibilities is ideal.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% is required.
• Follows OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations as defined by federal, state, local laws and Compass Support Services and client’s policies/procedures.
• Maintains OSHA recordkeeping; with assistance from corporate Risk Management, the position will determine reportable illnesses and injuries; position will prepare reports for all campus sites on a regular basis; position will prepare annual reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and other standards through facility inspections.
• Provide safety and workers’ compensation support through training, site visits and inspections.
• Develop and administer effective loss prevention and control programs.
• Train local management in proper methods of investigation and inspection format; ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations.
