Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Safety Engineer to join our Mission Critical team. You will partner with project leadership to implement and monitor safety programs across multiple current locations and regulated environments.

The role requires at least 3+ years of safety management on mission critical projects in construction, with a proactive, collaborative mindset. You will lead safety inspections, incident investigations, and data-driven improvements, ensuring compliance with OSHA and

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and productively with others.
• Knowledge of mission critical project systems.
• Knowledge of LOTO requirements.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E requirements.
• Assist in incident investigations including near misses, injuries, property damage.
• OSHA 30-hour construction certificate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Mission Critical Campus Safety Manager, Field Managers and employees to implement, monitor and enforce the safety program.
• Contribute to safety program management, design, and continual improvement.
• Monitor construction activities and advise management on compliance with regulations.
• Collect and monitor project safety programs from all subcontractors.
• Assist in investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Analyze data and develop preventive measures to reduce hazards and liability.
• Prepare and submit accident reports as required by regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks on site.
• Develop databases to support data analytics for operational improvement.
