Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Transportation to lead a safety‑driven, cost‑effective transportation team. The role focuses on safe, accurate, and timely outbound shipments to customers and distribution centers nationwide, while complying with DOT requirements and company policies.

You will develop drivers and transportation staff, coach performance, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service levels, with travel to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Experience as a driver is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations for associates, customers, and the public.
• Oversee and develop drivers and associates through coaching and policy training.
• Manage performance, set plans to address gaps, and drive reliable, safe shipments.
