Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to lead production activities and staff while upholding a strong safety culture. You will guide the manufacturing team to ensure quality and timely output across three shifts, with potential weekend coverage.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 5 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential to manage plant performance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in manufacturing leadership
• 5+ years in a key leadership/management role
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency
• Experience with manufacturing operations, maintenance, engineering and budgeting/expense management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct production activities and staff to meet safety, quality and schedule targets
• Monitor plant performance by reviewing reports and metrics
• Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to meet manufacturing objectives
• Develop systems and targets to assess plant and direct reports’ performance
• Train and develop key talent and plan succession
• Ensure schedules support meeting manufacturing goals
• Demonstrate ethical standards and foster a positive culture
• Exercise independent judgment in daily operations
• Fill in as needed to meet production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
