Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a motivated Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive positive change in our manufacturing environment.

You will apply CI, lean, and project management practices to improve quality, efficiency, productivity, safety, and employee morale. The role involves supporting Kaizen events, developing action plans, coaching teams, and cross-functional collaboration across plant departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficient in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational efficiency concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); project tracking tools a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Kaizen events and improvement initiatives with plant personnel.
• Develop and track improvement action plans for progress and accountability.
• Facilitate continuous improvement practices to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
• Maintain tracking tools and metrics to provide project transparency.
• Assist in developing business cases for CI projects and initiatives.
• Support training and coaching on CI tools across the organization.
• Work cross-functionally with plant departments to support CI initiatives.
• Apply basic project management to organize tasks, optimize resources, and support productivity improvements.
• Build relationships with shop floor employees to understand production processes and identify improvement opportunities.
