Zusammenfassung

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. in Newton, IA seeks a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, promote a strong safety culture, and direct staff across the plant. You will plan and direct production activities to ensure quality and timely output, while upholding Arcosa’s standards and values.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to optimize processes to meet production goals. The position is full-time and on-site in Newton, IA.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of progressive leadership/management experience.
• 3 years knowledge of welding, assembly or paint preferred.
• Read, write and speak proficient English.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance and budgeting/expense management preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking Production Managers . As the Production Manager, you will support a positive safety culture by planning and directing production activities and staff, you will lead the team in the manufacturing process to ensure quality and timely production.

Job Location: Newton, IA

What you'll do:

• Ensures that safety, health, and environmental legal and company standards are complied with, emphasizing safety as a top priority
• Monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards by developing and reviewing reports and metrics
• Coordinates plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Develops systems and sets performance targets and measures that appropriately assess the performance of the plant and direct reports, and reviews progress to ensure achievement of targets
• Train, instruct and direct work activities of employees; identify succession role requirements and high potential talent, and actively trains key talent
• Monitors schedule to accomplish manufacturing goals
• Demonstrate and model the highest ethical standards and treat all employees and coworkers with dignity and respect. Foster a culture that is positive and engaging for all employees
• Exercises independent judgment
• Fill-in as needed so that production goals can be met
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• Bachelors Degree Preferred
• 5 years of progressive experience in a key leadership/management role
• 3-year knowledge of welding, assembly or paint preferred
• Read, write and speak proficiently in English
• Have a working knowledge of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering and budgeting/expense management strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Full-time position, M-F, Mandatory OT can be required including weekends
• Safety sensitive role
• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate 3 shifts and frequent weekend shifts
• This position frequently requires work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
• This position may require infrequent travel, including operation of a company vehicle
