The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Safety Manager to partner with the Division Safety Manager, fostering a culture of safety across operations in Ohio. You will provide technical and compliance guidance to field employees, enforce safety standards, and support safety programs at multiple business units.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, incident investigations, trainings, and collaboration with regulators such as OSHA, MSHA, and DOT.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a safety management role.
• OSHA and MSHA training certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Motivate a proactive safety culture within the region and across units.
• Partner with leadership to drive safe behavior and safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and safety audits; report statistics and counsel managers.
• Responsible for incident reporting and post-incident investigations.
• Coordinate trainings for managers and employees and assist with loss control services.
