Southland Industries seeks a Recent Grad/Alumni - Safety Coordinator to support the Safety Manager in enforcing safety protocols across HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection projects. You will help implement programs, coordinate training, and maintain safety records on site.

Ideal candidates are passionate about safety, proactive, and capable of mentoring junior safety staff while collaborating with field teams to elevate safety performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for safety and be willing to implement safety programs.
• Ability to work within a construction environment and coordinate with site teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to safety.
• Willingness to train and mentor less experienced safety personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures on sites.
• Distribute and track safety training and certification records.
• Report and manage vehicle and workers' compensation claims.
• Maintain MSDS manuals and safety tailgate meeting documentation.
• Support the development of safety manuals and programs.
