The Role

Are you hardworking, reliable, and looking for an opportunity to become part of a new and dynamic team? We are seeking a reliable and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our busy office and workshop in Pasadena, Texas.

Principle Duties

1. Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations.
2. Ensure the highest safety compliance standards and a healthy work environment for staff, visitors, and vendors.
3. Monitor and stay up-to-date on safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to the industry.
4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events to determine root causes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
5. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with external organizations, such as government bodies, safety organizations, and insurance companies.

Core Skills/Attributes

1. Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an onsite safety compliance role.
3. ISO tank experience desirable.
4. Familiar with compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
5. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
6. Commitment to safety and quality.
