Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and ensure FULL compliance with Federal, State, and Local Regulations applicable to our industry.
  2. Ensure projects and employees adhere to company policies regarding work execution, asset usage, and operational standards.
  3. Conduct regular and unscheduled inspections of facilities and field sites to verify compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  4. Complete JSO / JHA Inspections as required for safety compliance.
  5. Inspect and monitor aerial and underground operations, ensuring only trained and certified employees operate specific equipment.
  6. Utilize the DriveCam System for scheduled and unscheduled safety inspections and audits.
  7. Obtain necessary qualifications to provide employee training on safety policies, industry standards, and mandated courses (Hazcom, Safe Codes, FA, CPR, etc.).
  8. Assist in investigating accidents related to company operations.
  9. Supervise inspection operations to ensure construction activities meet industry and regulatory standards and adhere to customer expectations.
  10. Assist in handling insurance claims, employee retraining, disciplinary actions, policy enforcement, and corrective measures for violations.
Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor operations and jobsites for compliance with relevant regulations and company safety policies.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections of operations and fleet to verify compliance with applicable laws.
  • Obtain necessary certifications to serve as safety and operational trainer.
  • Pass drug tests, background checks, and MVR assessments as per insurance requirements.
  • Proficiency in business database and spreadsheet software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing: 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Walking: 4 to 6 hours daily
  • Climbing, Bending/Twisting, Pushing/Pulling, Repetitive motions: 0 to 2 hours daily
  • Occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs., lifting and carrying weights of 50-60 lbs.

Note: Heavy lifting or positioning large objects may not be required but, if needed, should be performed with assistance following proper techniques outlined in the Employee Handbook.
