Job summary

SkyChefs in Miami is seeking a Safety Coordinator responsible for monitoring driver SOP compliance, maintaining driver files and assisting in safety-related administrative tasks. The role requires lifting and handling regulatory identifications and ensuring inspections, registrations, and IDs are current.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, the ability to obtain SIDA CBP within 30 days, and 3–5 years of safety experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire
• 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers
• Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files
• Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications
• Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance ID’s for trucks are current
• Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures
• Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned

Role Purpose Statement
