Jobot is seeking an experienced Permanent Safety Coordinator to join our construction-focused team in Denver. You will oversee the company’s safety programs, ensure DOT, state and local compliance, and drive a safety-first culture across project sites.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Permanent Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with a solid background in safety management, particularly in the utility and construction sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's safety programs and initiatives in compliance with DOT, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of safety protocols and programs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring that all safety measures are properly implemented and maintained.
• Organize and conduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees, ensuring that they are aware of safety regulations and procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on safety-related incidents and issues, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with management and staff to foster a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in safety coordination or a similar role within the utility or construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT requirements, state regulations, local regulations, and workplace safety.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs and initiatives.
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols and procedures in the construction industry.
