Jobot is seeking an operations leader to drive Growth in our Protection & Controls segment. You will own full P&L across multiple locations, guide senior leaders, and integrate new teams while maintaining safety and quality.

You’ll manage key accounts, shape process improvements, and build the reporting that gives leadership visibility into performance. Expect regular travel to customer sites as part of leadership across locations.

Job Details

• Table stakes: a proven people leader who builds trust quickly with technicians, managers, and customers. You lead with credibility and approachability, not just authority.
• Table stakes: full P&L ownership of a multi-location technical or electrical services business, with a track record of managing revenue, margin, utilization, backlog and forecast accuracy.
• Table stakes: an engineering or technical background in electrical services, ideally relay protection and controls, substation testing or commissioning.
• Experience leading leaders: you’ve managed General Managers or Area Managers with their own teams, and you know how to coach, develop and hold managers accountable.
• Integration or scale-up experience, such as absorbing an acquired team, standing up new locations or rapidly growing a technical workforce while keeping safety and quality intact.
• A safety-first mindset with a history of building strong field safety cultures across distributed teams.
• Strength in technician recruiting, retention and career development, with an understanding of what keeps skilled field talent engaged.
• Customer-facing ability: you’re comfortable owning key accounts, supporting major proposals and resolving service issues directly.
• A data-driven operator who turns KPIs into action and builds the reporting and processes that give a growing business visibility and control.
• Willingness to travel regularly across branch locations and customer sites. Roughly 3 days/ 2 nights a week.
