Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Construction Safety Coordinator for a 5-month contractor role in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include daily safety support, site inspections, JHA reviews, and incident follow-up, with a 50-hour work week and a weekly pay cycle.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety support for concrete construction activities.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor excavation, concrete placement, formwork, rebar, and material handling operations.
• Review JHAs, permits, and pre-task plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with GC, ownership, and subcontractors.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance reports.
• Support safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Promote a proactive safety culture on the project.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $49/hr
Per Diem: None
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: 50 Hours Per Week | Monday-Saturday

The Construction Safety Coordinator will provide field safety support for concrete construction operations while working closely with the General Contractor, ownership team, subcontractors, and field supervision to ensure safe project execution.

Required Qualifications
