Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to oversee safety for a large-scale data center project in Cedar Creek, TX. The role requires hands-on field safety leadership across fabrication, drywall, and civil construction activities, with a strong emphasis on hazard identification and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have OSHA certifications, a minimum of 2 years in construction safety, and current First Aid/CPR credentials.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification and OSHA 510 Certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of construction safety experience.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for data center construction and prefabrication operations.
• Maintain a highly visible presence in active work areas and manufacturing environments.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor wall panel fabrication, drywall installation, excavation, and civil construction activities.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and pre-task plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, subcontractors, and fabrication teams.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the project.

Location: Cedar Creek, TX
Duration: 2 Years (Start: 10/26)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $54/hr
Per Diem: None
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Saturday | 10 to 12 Hour Shifts
Additional Schedule Details: Potential Sunday work and rotating Saturdays as needed. Candidates should be prepared to support extended schedules throughout the life of the project.
