Job summary

Summit School Services seeks a Safety Supervisor to lead safety initiatives at a single CSC, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. Reporting to the General Manager, this role focuses on fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among drivers through coaching, training, and performance management.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, plus experience in promoting safe transportation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; advanced training preferred.
• SBDI certification or Durham’s Training Academy is required; equivalent trainer experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day safety operations for the CSC to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide coaching and safety training to drivers and staff.
• Prepare and submit safety and incident reports promptly.
• Maintain drug/alcohol testing programs and related records.
• Lead safety meetings and investigations into accidents or incidents.
