Job summary

Summit School Services LLC is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead safety initiatives at a single CSC, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this full-time role fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among the driver workforce.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• SBDI certification required; CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements required.
• Experience supervising/training a driver workforce or as a trainer preferred.
• Strong MS Office and transport software skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day safety operations for the CSC to ensure compliance.
• Provide coaching and training to operators to improve safety and service.
• Lead safety audits, investigations, and reporting.
• Administer drug/alcohol testing programs and records.
• Lead Monthly Health and Safety Committee meetings.
• Respond to incidents and customer safety issues with corrective actions.
