Zusammenfassung

Ben Franklin Transit is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the Agency’s safety programs, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and promote a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement. The role provides direction to Safety Specialists and collaborates across the Agency.

The ideal candidate will bring a BA/BS in a related field, at least five years’ experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Oversee safety investigations and incident reporting, including fault determination and documentation.
• Lead safety program audits and regulatory compliance efforts (OSHA, IIPP, hazard communications).
• Coordinate corrective actions, safety training, and monthly safety meetings.
• Manage security and emergency preparedness programs and maintain confidential information.
