Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Safety Manager to lead proactive safety across our distribution operations in Little Rock, AR. You will develop and implement safety programs, coach leaders, and analyze risk trends to prevent incidents.

Responsibilities include coordinating DOT, FMCSA and OSHA compliance, driving training, and managing workers’ compensation and safety KPIs. A strong presenter and data-driven problem-solver is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA guidance and regulations.
• Ability to design and present training to groups.
• Ability to analyze data and implement corrective actions.
• Office software proficiency (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead accident prevention strategy and drive behavioral safety.
• Develop preventability standards and corrective action plans.
• Chair safety review committees with cross-functional leaders.
• Analyze near-misses and incidents to reduce risk.
• Partner with supervisors for safety walks and ride-alongs.
• Drive safety initiatives and near-miss recognition programs.
• Lead OSHA, DOT and FMCSA compliance activities and driver training.
• Oversee incident investigations and return-to-work programs.
