Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Safety Professional 1 in its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to support risk management, safety planning, and regulatory compliance across federal, local, and commercial projects.

This position collaborates with GC/owners, project teams, and contractors to implement safety plans and incident investigations. The ideal candidate has S&H training experience, OSHA/ANSI standards knowledge, and a track record in industrial safety within construction or federal

Qualifications

• Experience conducting S&H training and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of 1910, 1926, EM-385 requirements.
• Familiarity with safety management systems and standards.
• Understanding of culture-building and training design.
• OSHA 500/502 trainer designation desirable.
• Willingness to pursue ASP/CSP/CHST certifications.
• Experience in electrical/construction/industrial S&H in federal and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with GC/owner on site safety and NCN implications.
• Lead meetings to present mitigation plans and safety reports.
• Develop and implement Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs and trainings.
• Assist with safety budgets, permits, and compliance with contracts.
• Lead ORM team to craft safety plans based on specs and regulations; conduct investigations.
• Apply OSHA, DOT compliance and safety standards in daily work.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.
