• Direct employee engagement activities such as risk assessments and safety awareness.
• Conduct safety audits and inspect facilities for safe operations and regulatory compliance.
• Manage functions or projects and supervise when required.
• Train staff across divisions in safety procedures and annual refresher training.
• Inspect work in progress, identify issues, and direct remedial action.
• Participate on cross-functional teams for low-level incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Accompany MSHA/OSHA/state mine inspectors and document field activities.
• Conduct health and safety orientations and distribute policy literature.
