Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to monitor site safety programs and maintain records to ensure compliance with the Safety Management System. The role focuses on accident prevention, regulatory compliance, and data-driven safety improvements with oversight from the Safety Manager.

The successful candidate will lead safety inspections, train staff, and coordinate hazard controls. Proactive safety leadership helps the plant leadership team reduce risk and improve workplace safety

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in safety or related engineering field required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of safety experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or facilitate training in safety areas (ergonomics, emergency response, lockout/tagout, hazard communications, etc.).
• Identify hazards and propose safe work practices to leadership.
• Provide expertise on hazard identification and risk mitigation processes.
