Job summary

FIDELITONE is seeking a Safety and Compliance Specialist reporting to the VP Corporate Real Estate, Safety, Compliance and Loss Prevention to oversee safety and regulatory compliance across warehouse, transportation, and Last Mile operations in Illinois.

The role requires extensive knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, OSHA, and the development of warehouse safety programs, inspections, and incident investigations across facilities and carriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety, Occupational Health, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant safety/compliance experience.
• Experience with Last Mile operations and 3PL/Carrier partnerships preferred.
• FMCSA/SMS familiarity and carrier compliance a plus.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or ASP/CHST a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DOT, FMCSA, OSHA compliance across warehouse, transport, and Last Mile.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and SOPs.
• Lead audits, regulatory reviews, and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and monitor trends.
