Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, Safety Management, or Environmental Engineering.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and NIOSH regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work toward deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create New Hire Orientation material to elevate onboarding.
• Assist with safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments for compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and report safety data and performance metrics.
• Support the development and delivery of safety training sessions.
• Review and update safety policies to meet regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety data sheets and hazard communication labels.
• Monitor PPE usage and ergonomics for injury prevention.
• Coordinate safety drills and emergency response plans.
