Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a motivated Summer Safety Intern to join our Health and Safety team in Pennsylvania. This fully onsite role in Harrisburg/Shiremanstown involves supporting safety management, compliance, and workplace hazard prevention, working with the Safety Manager and team members.

The internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, including audits, training, incident investigations, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and NIOSH rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with contributors at all levels of management.
• Strong work habits and willingness to work hours needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create New Hire Orientation material and onboarding content.
• Assist with Safety Audits, inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and report safety data, incidents, near misses, and KPIs.
• Support Safety Training programs and deliver toolbox talks to employees.
