Job summary

Sure Power is seeking a Safety Coordinator to enforce safety programs, perform risk assessments, and train staff to maintain a safe workplace. The role includes regular site visits and safety audits with up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities include stopping unsafe operations, investigating incidents with the EHS Manager, coordinating drills and emergency plans, and maintaining safety documentation while ensuring OSHA compliance and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
• CSP/CHST certification preferred.
• OSHA 30 and CPR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites and conduct safety audits and inspections with up to 50% travel.
• Stop operations and activities that could harm staff or equipment.
• Investigate incidents with EHS Manager to identify root causes.
• Coordinate safety drills and emergency response plans.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures with EHS Manager.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports.
• Provide safety training to employees in-office and on-site.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and OSHA standards.
• Identify opportunities to minimize injuries and health problems.
