Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Safety Management System across our manufacturing operations in Houston. You will help implement safety programs, manage documentation, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

This role offers hands-on experience in industrial safety, exposure to audits, training administration, and contractor safety management, leading toward more senior safety roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Technology, HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years in safety, compliance, manufacturing, or industrial support role.
• OSHA knowledge and workplace safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer safety programs and initiatives.
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance files.
• Assist with OSHA regulations, policies, and best practices.
• Support training programs and toolbox talks.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Manufacturing, and Field Services to improve safety performance.
