Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support our safety management system within a manufacturing environment in Houston, TX. You will coordinate training, audits, contractor safety, and incident documentation, reporting to the Safety Manager.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a safety, compliance, manufacturing, or industrial support role.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety principles.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and recordkeeping skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and administration of safety programs and initiatives.
• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate and administer new hire safety orientation and training records.
• Coordinate contractor onboarding, qualification processes, and compliance.
