Green Bay Packaging is seeking a safety co-op for the Mill Division to gain exposure to occupational safety in a paper mill setting while supporting OSHA compliance and safety program development.

The role includes training, incident analysis, and program coordination with a semester commitment and a full-time summer internship, emphasizing safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in Occupational & Environmental Safety & Health.
• Sophomore year completed or in progress, good academic standing.
• Excellent organizational skills essential for safety program administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain OSHA compliance of safety programs and procedures.
• Conduct employee training as required by OSHA.
• Develop and maintain proactive safety and security programs.
• Coordinate measures to assure compliance with changes in safety-related laws and regulations.
• Conduct root cause analysis of injuries and near misses and recommend risk mitigations.
• Oversee accident investigation programs and analyze trends to prevent future incidents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
