Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Safety professional to plan, implement, and audit safety and occupational health components for the Arkansas Kraft Division in Morrilton, AR.

The role reports to the Safety Manager and focuses on compliance with federal/state requirements and developing a safety culture across mill operations. The candidate will collaborate with both hourly and salaried staff, maintain training materials, and oversee PPE provision and incident investigations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational safety and health.
• Preferred Safety Certification: ASP, CSP, OHST, etc.
• Ability to lead teams in a union environment and deliver consistent safety messages.
• Ability to develop, implement, and direct safety initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain safety programs compliant with federal, state, and GBP requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Corp Safety Audit Program elements.
• Maintain Process Safety Management requirements for mill operations.
• Communicate effectively with hourly and salaried employees.
• Encourage employee involvement in safety program and Safety Task Force.
• Liaise with Safety Champions and assist department projects.
