Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs and champion a proactive safety culture at its Spokane Valley site. You’ll perform audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments while collaborating with teams to protect employees and maintain productivity.

The role requires either 1 year in an EHS field or a related bachelor’s, plus knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related background OR 6 months experience in a safety role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a safety-related field.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
• Experience leading and managing a team, analyzing accident data, new processes, and machinery for safety concerns, and conducting job hazard analyses.
• Experience in emergency response and currently holds First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Experience in workers compensation case management.
