Job summary

B&D Industries, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional to lead site safety efforts and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role focuses on building a strong safety culture, delivering training, and driving safety improvements across worksites.

The position requires engaging leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed to support evolving project requirements, with a focus on maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s in Environmental Health and Safety, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred.
• Valid OSHA 500 or CHST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Safety management of people, supplies, equipment, and BBS program.
• Implement and administer safety programs at each worksite, assist PM in developing site-specific safety programs and conduct safety orientation and training.
• Provide safety counseling and coaching to employees to promote safe practices.
• Ensure all employees have and maintain OSHA training.
• Develop and deliver training based on analysis of employee functions as needed.
• Maintain monthly maintenance and reporting of BBS for company reporting.
• Conduct toolbox talks for staff; develop, review, and update safety plans as needed.
• Document, report, and track safety violations/incidents; conduct worksite observations.

Education
