Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Sr. Site Safety Manager to support project staff and the safety team in implementing corporate safety standards according to Federal, State, and Local requirements.

You will lead the development of a zero-injury culture, perform weekly on-site safety inspections, and coordinate orientations for new workers. Responsibilities include managing subcontractor safety programs, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring proper recordkeeping and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Safety and Health or equivalent.
• At least two (4) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction with knowledge of safety/environs.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred; strong communication skills and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project safety program aligned with OSHA and company standards.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new employees.
• Record participation and issue identifications for orientation; document monthly safety meetings.
• Attend initial meetings to define roles within the project safety program.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractors and ensure compliance.
• Lead weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
