Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs and drive a culture of safety across Canadian sites. You will conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments while delivering engaging safety training to associates and building trust with frontline teams.

As the building's safety champion, you will transform safety data into clear narratives, collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement, and balance safety with productivity while upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or a Bachelor’s in EHS or 6 months in Amazon safety role.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Ability to handle confidentiality in workplace matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits and incident investigations to drive program excellence.
• Develop and deliver safety training that engages associates.
• Translate safety data into compelling narratives to drive engagement.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and safety culture across levels.
• Partner with leadership to implement continuous safety improvements.
