Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments while delivering engaging training to associates. The role focuses on building a proactive safety culture and continuously improving safety programs across sites.

As the safety champion, you will influence relationships with frontline staff and leadership, turning safety data into stories that drive positive change and engagement in safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related background OR 6 months safety-related experience at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Transform safety data into actionable narratives to drive engagement in safety initiatives.
• Serve as trusted safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing.
