Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and trainings at our Maryland facility. You will partner with operations to drive a proactive safety culture and protect associates on the job.

The role requires OSHA knowledge, data analysis, and strong communication. Flex shifts and on-site work enable impactful safety leadership across Amazon sites.

Qualifikationen

• High school or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-relevant background OR 6 months experience performing in a safety-related role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments with innovative solutions.
• Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build partnerships to drive safety practices across the organization.
• Transform safety data into narratives to influence positive change and drive engagement in safety initiatives.
• Assist emergency response at the site and support safety leadership during incidents.
