Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services seeks a THV Home Visitor to deliver SafeCare-based home visits, parent support groups, and developmental screenings. You will engage families, maintain accurate records, and coordinate services within the Texas Home Visiting program in a hybrid work setup.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; experience with families or in-home visitation is preferred. Strong communication and cultural sensitivity are essential for service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field is required.
• Two years working with families in a professional setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of and/or experience using community resources preferred.
• Requires ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and engage families to receive services and determine family eligibility.
• Coordinate home visits as prescribed in the Texas Home Visiting program for observing and informing parents.
• Perform approved developmental screening tool on all children in caseload and report results.
• Provide resource and referral services linking families with community resources and support systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate case records and submit required reports.
