Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe transportation for students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. You will be responsible, punctual, with a clean driving record and adherence to all traffic laws.

The role includes vehicle maintenance, safety checks, supporting classroom activities if requested, and a commitment to a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs. This is a part-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs
• Regular driver's license; CDL with passenger endorsement for 15+ passenger vehicle if applicable
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in last five years
• Background check and annual physician statement for medical conditions

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
• Obey traffic laws and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bus
• Perform regular inspections of the bus and refuel as needed
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules; assist with boarding and exiting
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the Director
