Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer in Herndon, VA to coordinate delivery across multiple agile trains and cross-functional teams. You will establish execution standards, manage dependencies, and drive program-level visibility in a large-scale SAFe environment.

You will lead PI planning, develop metrics, and ensure Jira reflects status and commitments, partnering with product owners, systems engineering, and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an RTE in SAFe or large-scale Agile environments.
• Experience leading PI planning and coordinating delivery across multiple Agile teams.
• Experience developing Agile execution metrics and program health assessments.
• TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree (or 9+ years of relevant work experience)

Responsibilities

• Establish Agile execution standards and governance across the program.
• Coordinate PI planning across multiple ARTs and teams.
• Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and delivery impediments.
• Maintain program-level metrics, forecasting, and health assessments.
• Ensure Jira reflects program status and governance across the program.
