Job summary

The Montgomery County Coalition (MCCH) is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee Residential Aide staff and day-to-day operations of VA Safe Haven facilities. You will ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance across sites, while coordinating with the Program Manager and Case Manager to meet resident needs.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, scheduling, incident reporting, and maintaining inventories.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED with supervisory experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience working with clients who have severe mental illness or trauma.
• Ability to write routine reports and documents.
• Knowledge of CPR andFirst Aid procedures; respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Residential Aide staff and day-to-day operations of VA Safe Haven facilities.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and compliance with VA Housing/SH regulations.
• Coordinate with Program Manager and Case Manager to provide resident resources.
• Transport or arrange transportation for clients as needed; available 24/7.
• Schedule and supervise across three sites; conduct monthly safety checks and drills.
• Maintain records, manage inventory, and oversee budgeting for supplies.
• Lead house meetings and participate in staff trainings and MCCH activities.
