Job summary

MCCH in Rockville, MD is seeking a Residential Aide for the Safe Haven Program on a PRN basis. The role supports residents with daily activities, safety, and basic needs, while modeling healthy coping and respectful interactions.

Responsibilities include transporting residents to appointments, assisting with housing routines, documenting incidents, and collaborating with the House Manager, Case Manager, and Program Director as needed. CPR and first aid proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• CPR and minor first aid knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to residents per the Safe Haven program.
• Maintain a safe, trauma-informed environment and model respectful interactions.
• Transport residents to appointments as needed.
• Assist with daily living tasks and housekeeping to keep the home sanitary.
• Monitor resident behavior and ensure adherence to house rules.
• Document incidents and census/log notes; report to supervisors.
• Support residents in developing independent living skills.
