Job summary

Hawaii Pacific University seeks an early-career systems engineer to support the Client Services team in configuring, maintaining, and monitoring enterprise systems across a mixed computing environment.

You will assist with system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation, including LMS, web conferencing, Adobe tools, and lecture capture systems, with opportunities to scripting and automation under guidance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of work experience in technical operations and a helpdesk environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and admin consoles.
• Available to work outside regular business hours.
• Project work, including deployments in an eclectic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems support and engineering for desktop and virtual environments.
• Document processes and develop user guides aligned with HPU standards.
• Assist with scripting and automation for maintenance and operations.
• Support multiple campuses and escalate complex issues with guidance.
