Job summary

Hively seeks a Systems Administrator to implement, configure, and improve SaaS platforms and data integrations, starting with Measure C programs in Alameda County. This hands-on role emphasizes rule configuration, API connections, data quality, and secure operations.

You will collaborate with the Director, Data & Systems, staff, and vendors to deliver reliable technology solutions and respond to incidents and changes with documentation and testing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of experience administering, configuring, implementing, or supporting complex SaaS or enterprise business applications.
• Hands-on with business rules, workflow configuration, user roles and permissions, and application administration.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, automated data exchanges, and data file formats.
• Strong data concepts, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support program technology platforms, focusing on Measure C Contracted Slots and Operating Grants.
• Configure workflows, rules, user roles, and permissions based on program requirements.
• Collaborate with program teams, Director, and vendors to translate requirements into configurations.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, workflows, and decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy via validation, reconciliation, and automated checks.
• Develop and execute test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Track defects and vendor issues through release cycles and changes.
• Monitor scheduled processes to ensure reliable operations.
• Provide technical support and escalate complex issues to vendors.
• Investigate problems, document findings, and coordinate resolution.
• Assist with incident response, disaster recovery, and access controls.
