Job summary

SoftPro, a leader in real estate closing and title software, seeks a Software Development Manager for its Raleigh, NC SaaS team. Hybrid role requiring in-office presence 2-3 days/week, collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to drive agile delivery and Azure-centric SDLC.

You will guide high-performing teams, promote secure-by-default practices, and manage delivery from planning through deployment, while mentoring engineers and aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years engineering leadership in an agile environment.
• 3+ years with microservices on AKS or similar platforms.
• Experience with AI-based development and agentic tools in the SDLC.
• Proven ability to measure engineering effectiveness (e.g., DORA, SPACE).
• Strong leadership and people skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead SaaS teams; hire, onboard, and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to meet commitments.
• Drive Azure-centric SDLC, DevOps automation, and CI/CD.
• Maintain high engineering standards and secure-by-default design.
• Coordinate nearshore resources and manage delivery end-to-end.
• Foster automation, reduce toil, and improve velocity.
