Job summary

Koch is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for a multi-tenant Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, set engineering standards, and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions across AWS.

You will collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to modernize capabilities and ensure reliability and performance. You will lead full-stack design, data modeling in PostgreSQL, and embedded analytics with AWS QuickSight.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web applications with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs/backend services using Node.js, NestJS, Express, or similar.
• Experience designing PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and indexing.
• Experience using AWS cloud services (at least three: EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Led technical direction as a solution architect or design authority for production apps.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Establish cloud architecture standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Deliver analytics via AWS QuickSight with dashboard design, row-level security, and data modeling.
• Drive architecture reviews, decisions, and standards for scalability, resiliency, security, observability.
• Translate business objectives into technical roadmaps with stakeholders across teams.
• Champion infrastructure-as-code, automation, and CI/CD using Terraform.
