Job summary

Upside Search is seeking a SaaS Operations Engineer in a hybrid/remote role to optimize cloud infrastructure, security, and deployment pipelines for a healthcare tech platform. You will monitor Azure-based systems, strengthen CI/CD, and support audit readiness while collaborating with product teams to improve reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes scalable cloud operations, proactive incident prevention, and delivering secure, observable software.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, or SaaS infrastructure.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Working knowledge of monitoring/alerting tools (Datadog, New Relic, Azure Monitor).
Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Healthcare or healthtech industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor a cloud-based (Azure) environment for uptime and reliability across microservices.
Set up automated reporting, logging, and alerting to detect issues early.
Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for secure, efficient releases.
Partner with leadership and audit teams to maintain SOC 2, HIPAA compliance.
Implement access management, patching, and vulnerability prevention practices.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline infrastructure and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with developers to improve performance, monitoring, and system health visibility.
