Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Hybrid Cloud to lead the design, development and operation of its hybrid cloud infrastructure, prioritizing cost, availability, performance, security and scalability.

You will support on-prem private cloud, public cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, databases and storage, while recommending approaches to improve cloud efficiency with secure on‑prem data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Azure expertise including HA/DR, multi-AZ and multi-region deployment, auto scaling.
• Azure integration with third party software, other SaaS or on-premise apps.
• 7+ years with server/storage hardware and software (Citrix, VMware, Dell Server/Storage, Windows, Linux).
• Active Directory and Group Policy experience.
• Relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL).
• VMware vSphere/vCenter experience preferred.
• Networking and security concepts in hybrid cloud infra.
• PowerShell and/or Bash scripting exposure.
• Team player with leadership in design, deployment and support.
• ITIL knowledge: service, capacity, change management & docs.
• Azure Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and operation of Telecare's hybrid cloud infrastructure focusing on cost, availability, performance, security and scalability.
• Provide support for on-prem private cloud, public cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, databases, storage and SRE functions.
• Make recommendations to improve cloud efficiency while keeping data secure on-premises.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure reliable infrastructure delivery.
