Job summary

Firstup is seeking a Service Consultant to act as a functional and technical expert during customer implementations. You will lead onboarding, configuration, and customization, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure a successful launch and ongoing customer success.

You will guide customers through setting up the product, integrations, and authentication, while creating documentation and training materials for enablement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a tech related field or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of client-facing SaaS experience (Solutions/Implementation Consultant, Professional Services, or similar).
• Experience with Enterprise SaaS applications/software/solutions.
• Experience coordinating customer implementations from kickoff to launch.
• Strong project management and organizational skills for multiple implementations.
• Familiarity with API, authentication, and integration concepts.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) for SaaS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management to drive actions and decisions.
• Problem-solving mindset with proactive risk management and solutioning.
• Team player with cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through the end-to-end onboarding and implementation process, configuring settings and integrations.
• Coordinate milestones, timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies toward launch.
• Act as primary point of contact during implementation, communicating progress and risks.
• Create and maintain implementation documentation, guides, and training materials.
• Guide customers in product setup and integration with HRIS or other systems.
• Provide technical support for authentication, data integration, and app functionality during launch.
